Being the son of a photographer means there will be times when I’ll ask him to do something again so I can get a better angle. I may get frustrated if something doesn’t go right. I may ask him to do something he really doesn’t want to do or doesn’t understand. We rolled through this shark exhibit three times to get this shot. Each time waiting for a lull in the crowd, then frantically getting in position. Then the low light meant slow movements. This isn’t always easy with a seven year-old. When he gets frustrated I remind him that I could be an accountant or have an office job and days where he needs to be with me could be in a place like that. Either way, I’m just thankful that at the end of the day I can show him that the extra trip through the tank pays off. Thanks Z-Man! This shot was featured across GoPro’s social media on this day.
